Attend Zoning Meetings! Speak with your Township elected officials. Act now – to prevent Quarry approval. Should this Quarry be granted the Special Exception and Variances needed to operate, the East Penn valley will be affected – FOR THE NEXT 60 – 80 YEARS - during the operating life of the Quarry. Consider the negative impact this industrial site will have on the local farmers, residential development, future sewage service, local roads and highways, air quality, water supply, stream and wetlands, sinkholes, loss of recreational area (Berkleigh Country Club), health and safety of residents and farmers.

If you have missed past meetings, you may not know how the proposed Lehigh Cement quarry on Eagle Road may affect the East Penn Valley and you. We have listed some of the changes that Lehigh Cement testified will take place.
